Criteria
for Membership

Must
be at least 18 years old*

Must
be a member in good standing with the WWII HRS (www.worldwartwohrs.org
).

Must
pay annual unit dues and meet all required unit financial
obligations.

Must
be able to uphold the goals and purpose of the unit.
-
Must
adhere to proper etiquette of the World War II time period
-
Must
actively contribute to the unit.
-
Must
be willing to pitch in and help wherever needed.
-
Must
enjoy history and public interaction.

At
minimum, unit members must attend one event per calendar year and
also attend scheduled meetings.
*Membership
for minors:

Persons
aged 16-17 may join if accompanied by a parent, legal guardian or
sponsor. The parent or guardian must be a WW2 USO-Stateside
Operations member or inductee or the individual can be sponsored by
any willing WW2 USO-Stateside Operations Senior Member. The Parent,
guardian or WW2 Senior Member sponsor must be at all events the
minor member attends and is responsible and liable for any and all
actions of the minor. Under no circumstances will the minor, age
16-17, be allowed at events without their parent, guardian or WW2
USO Senior Member sponsor. Individuals aged 16-17 must be WWII HRS
members in good standing. However, they will be considered
Minor/Probationary members of WW2 USO – Stateside Operations.

In
compliance with HRS by-laws, persons under the age of 16 are not
allowed Regular individual membership in the World War Two HRS, Inc.
The only option for HRS membership is under a Family Membership and
in accordance with HRS by-laws individuals under the age of 16 years
must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all events.
They will be considered Minor/Probationary members of WW2 USO –
Stateside Operations, and the parent or guardian must be a WW2
USO-Stateside Operations member or inductee. The parent or guardian
must be at all events the minor member attends and is responsible
and liable for any and all actions of the minor. Under no
circumstances will the minor, under 16 years old, be allowed at
events without their parent or guardian.
